Tymäkelit jatkuvat... // Still no flights due to the weather

Torstaiaamun briefing peruttiin keskiviikkoiltana tekstiviestillä, jonka organisaatio lähetti kaikille joukkueenjohtajille. Käytäntö toimi jo Jämillä vuosi sitten ja on todettu erittäin hyväksi tavaksi tiedottaa, kunhan tekstiviestit vain toimivat ja menevät kaikille perille. Lisätietoja saamme piakkoin, niitä luvattiin n. klo 11:00 paikallista aikaa.

Tällä hetkellä meneillään on CIVAn subkomitean kokous, jossa Jysky on mukana, me muut odottelemme ja juomme paikallista kahvia. Joka on kokemus sinällään...

Ravintolasta saa kahden tyyppistä kahvia. Espresso tulee isossa kupissa ja muistuttaa normaalikahvia. Instant ei suinkaan ole meikäläisittän tuttua murukahvia, vaan pohjalla lilluu paksu musta möhnä, jonka pitää antaa laskeutua hetken aikaa ennen kahvin nauttimista. Tämä kahvi on yllättävän hyvää maultaan, mutta vaatiin kärsivällisyyttä jotta purut tai mitä ikinä se onkaan laskeutuu pohjalle.

Thursday mornings 08:00 briefing was cancelled again via SMS which was sent to all team managers on wed evening. This system was founded very good last year in Jämi, group sms's to the teams. Quite cheap and effective way, if only everyone gets the messages. We are expecting some more information at about 11:00LT.

At this moment there is a CIVA sub comittee meeting where Jysky is a member, and the rest of us are waiting at the restaurant drinking local coffee. That is an experience itself...

There is two types of coffee. Espresso comes in a large cup and reminds a normal coffee. Instant, on the other hand, is not instant coffee as we know it, but there is this black "goo" on the bottom of the cup. You have to be patient after stirring you coffee to let it clear. This is rather tasty coffee, but needs serious patience.
